Room Parents
Thank you for volunteering your time as a Room Parent! You provide an invaluable service to the school. The Room Parent position is the lead contact for your child’s classroom and the main source of communication between the PTA, your teacher and the parents. You will attend a kick-off meeting at the beginning of the school year where you will receive an overview and tour of the Coyote Creek website which includes helpful information on how to perform the Room Parent duties listed below.
On Back to School Night, your teacher will collect the contact information that can be shared with your classroom. There will also be volunteer sign ups. In the LOCKER to the right, please find some helpful blank templates for creating a class roster, emergency list, and the volunteer schedules. You will also find letter templates to help you plan parties, how to ask for an auction lead and teacher information questionnaires.
