In planning your upcoming classroom parties we will be making a concerted effort to adhere to the Wellness Policy put in place by the district, which asks us to provide healthy fun food for the kids and limit the number of high sugar treats that are inevitable at parties. In time for the fist party of the year, a letter will be posted to the Room Parent locker with a Lunch Party donation letter for your convenience. The letter is mearly a sample party menu guideline that supports our wellness efforts while still allowing the festivities of the seaon. It will cover how to handle donations that include pizza, fruit, yogurts, veggies and dip and a seasonal celebration treat for dessert.
