What is Children Helping Children?

The Cross County Partner School Program, formed in 1994 by a Greenbrook parent, now involves almost every school in our district, each one being paired with a school in West County. Our objective is to conduct a minimum of 2 “drives” a year for books and/or clothes and/or food or whatever else might be needed by our partner schools.

Over the past eight years our district has donated over 150,000 books to our partner schools and probably close to $100,000 worth of clothing. We encourage all schools to become as involved as possible in helping others and in creating opportunities for our students to be involved in this process as well.

A huge thank you to all the families that participated in our Holiday Gift Drive!

With the generosity of our Coyote Creek and Quail Run families, we delivered approximately 345 gifts to the children at our partner school, Nystrom Elementary School in Richmond. Because of your donations, these kids were given books, games, stuffed toys and treats that they may not have received otherwise.

A special thank you to the ladies who helped pack the cars and deliver the gifts, it couldn't have been done without you.
