What is the CCLF?
Coyote Creek Learning Fund : (CCLF) is a nonprofit public benefit corporation operated in affiliation with the San Ramon Valley Education Foundation, thus maintaining the tax deductibility of all contributions made to CCLF. CCLF is operated by a Board of Directors that includes the Coyote Creek's Principal, a teacher and staff representative, a PTA and Site Council representative, and six elected parents/guardians of School children. CCLF's design, governance structure, and its mission assure that CCLF will always be responsive to the needs of Coyote Creek School and allows for a broad spectrum of fundraising activities.
CCLF is an ALL VOLUNTEER group so we can put all of your donated resources into the School!!
What is the CCLF mission?
CCLF's mission is to "maintain and enhance the quality of education and environment of Coyote Creek School ." CCLF's goal is to maximize contributions from parents, community, and corporations to sustain and improve the outstanding achievement of all students at Coyote Creek!
Approximately 50% of our annually funding comes from the Golf Tournament, Spring Auction, escript and matching funds. The remainder comes from generous contributions from parents during the registration drive each year.
Funding Facts:
The San Ramon Valley Unified School District receives the second lowest funding for students in the state ($4,891) compared to, for example, Dublin ($5,909), Pleasanton ($5,597) and Berkeley ($5,215). In addition, as you know, spending on California school districts is well below the national average.
How can I find out about Matching Funds?
Increase the power of your contributions with matching funds from your company. Many companies and employers have a matching gift fund program that will match your charitable contributions to CCLF dollar for dollar (up to a predefined amount). Please contact your company's gift fund program coordinator or HR Director to determine the parameters, timelines and procedures around your company's matching fund program. Then please complete the enclosed Matching Gift Fund Form and bring this with you to registration. Last year CCLF raised over $20,000 in matching funds and this year our goal is to raise over $40,000, so your participation is very much appreciated and needed.
