Holly ColsonI am very excited to be at Coyote Creek! I've previously taught 1st through 4th grades in South Los Angeles and Los Lunas, New Mexico. I've also taught English in Campeche, Mexico. I love teaching, learning, supporting teachers in reading and writing, and working with students and families. In my spare time I enjoy reading, cooking, yoga, salsa and ballroom dancing, and traveling. I feel fortunate to be at such a great school! |
Ann KatzburgI was fortunate to be hired as one of the teachers to open up Coyote Creek Elementary in 2000. I taught in a K/1 class our inaugural year, then moved up to first grade which I taught for 3 years. I joined the fourth grade team for three years. I am now back at Kindergarten and loving every second I spend with my students and teaching partner, Jennifer Nelson. I have two children. My daughter, Susan is a sophomore at UC Santa Barbara, and my son Terence is a junior at Cal High. I enjoy playing with my dogs, sailing, hiking, reading and hanging out with my friends. |
Michelle MoriI joined the Coyote Creek staff in 2004 and have had the pleasure of teaching kindergarten and first grade for 6 years. I received my Bachelor's Degree at California State University, Hayward in Mass Communication with a minor in Public Relations and received my Multiple Subject Teaching Credential from The University of Phoenix. I have lived in the San Ramon Valley for the last 20 years. I currently reside in Danville with my husband Bruce, and my daughter, Sarah. I enjoy spending time with my family, visiting my parents in Vacaville, reading, gardening and traveling. |
Gillian MochizukiI am thrilled to be starting my fifth year of teaching Kindergarten at Coyote Creek. I have been involved with the highly regarded SRVUSD for many, many years; first as a parent, then as a teacher aide and as a substitute teacher. I am originally from Australia, but I spent 14 years in Tokyo, Japan and 7 years in Honolulu, Hawaii, where I met my husband. I received my BA in Asian Studies from Sophia University, Tokyo, my MBA from the University of Hawaii and my Teaching Credential from Cal State Hayward. My husband is a CPA and is Japanese American, (which helps explain my last name). We have three children: our two sons have now graduated from college and are working in Silicon Valley and my daughter is a sophomore at UC Berkeley. My favorite hobby is international travel and I have a very keen interest in multicultural learning and activities. I have spent the past few summers teaching in Kyushu, Japan Chiangmai, Thailand and South India. I find the international flavor of Coyote Creek Elementary School very enriching. I love teaching Kindergarten! Every day, I look forward to seeing bright, happy children enter my classroom, eager to learn and build new friendships. |
