Our students have been very active in our Organic Garden!  We are making progress! Our Butterfly and Hummingbird Garden is also in full bloom.  Continue to check for updated pictures!

Barton Reading Program

Volunteer Tutors Needed:

Please contact Stacy Fitzer SFitzer@srvusd.net or Deb Bocheneck dbochenek@srvusd.net to inquire about volunteering.  Coyote Creek has students on the wait list, but there are not enough volunteers on staff to serve these children.  You can change a student’s entire future by teaching that child to read, write, and spell.

What is Barton?

The Barton Reading & Spelling System is a one-on-one tutoring system that will greatly improve the spelling, reading, and writing skills for children who struggle.

The Barton System is:

• Orton-Gillingham influenced
• Approved by the California Department of Education
• Supported by independent scientific research
• Meets No Child Left Behind requirements

If you enrolled your child in Kindergarten or Transitional Kindergarten (TK) by May 3, 2013, your child has a spot at Coyote Creek!  There will be NO lottery this year.
